Welcome to Chattanooga! Here's everything you need to plan your trip to The Chattanoogan Hotel for the 2027 Annual Meeting. May is a busy travel season in the region, so we recommend booking flights and ground transportation early.

A small, easy airport with nonstop service from major hubs:
- American: Charlotte (CLT), Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Miami (MIA), Washington National (DCA)
- Delta: Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), New York LaGuardia (LGA)
- United: Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Houston (IAH), Newark (EWR), and Denver (DEN), seasonal, returning spring 2027
- Allegiant: Florida flights on select days to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando Sanford, Punta Gorda, and Tampa Bay

- Nashville (BNA), about 2 hours northwest on I-24. Served by all major carriers, often with good fares.
Flying internationally? Connecting through Atlanta usually gives you the most choices.

From the airport to the hotel
Taxi
Waiting outside baggage claim on the ground level. About $15–20 and 15 minutes to the hotel.
Uber & Lyft
Book in the app and meet your driver in the ground transportation area outside baggage claim. About $15–20.

Counters are in baggage claim: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National. Book early for the best rates.
Driving to Chattanooga
Chattanooga sits where I-75, I-24, and I-59 meet, so it's an easy drive from much of the Southeast.

May weather
Warm days, usually around 80°F, and mild evenings in the 60s. Spring showers are common, so pack an umbrella.
What to pack
Comfortable walking shoes for Thursday's excursions to Rock City or Ruby Falls, a light layer for the cave and for air-conditioned meeting rooms, and your poster if you're presenting.
