Program Directors Meeting

The Program Directors Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 14 prior to the start of the APHMG Workshop. A registration fee of $75 and pre-registration is required. The fee includes all meals. APHMG Workshop

The APHMG Workshop begins on Thursday, April 15 through Friday, April 16. The fee of $450 includes all meals and a Friday evening closing dinner. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you plan to attend. To view the schedule, click HERE.

 

Thursday Afternoon Wine Tour

Join your colleagues on Thursday afternoon for a wine tasting and tour of Beringer Vineyards located approximately 30 minutes from The Silverado Hotel and Resort. A separate fee of $55 and pre-registration is required. The fee includes round-trip transportation, a private tour of the winery and samplings of regular and reserve wines. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you plan to attend.

Beringer Vineyards is the oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley and the first to offer public tours. The Beringer estate was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Guests will explore the wine-aging caves and gravity-flow winery from 1876, the landmark Rhine House completed in 1884 and other architectural aspects of the property. Please note wine selections vary depending on the season and availability. For full enjoyment of the tour, we recommend comfortable walking shoes, a light sweater or jacket and sunglasses.
 

 

Friday Night Closing Dinner

The closing dinner will be held at the Silverado Resort. The cost of dinner is included in the registration fee however pre-registration is required. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you plan to attend.

 

 

Guest Registration

Guest registration is available for attendees bringing their spouse or family guest to the meeting. Guest registration includes all meals but does not include admittance to the Program Directors Meeting, the APHMG Meeting or the Thursday afternoon wine tasting tour. If you wish to purchase a guest ticket for the wine tasting tour, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
 

 

Receipts

After successful submission, you will receive an immediate visual confirmation receipt that includes a registration number and a personal ID number. Please keep this confirmation receipt page for your records. You will not receive a separate email. If you do not receive the online confirmation immediately then your registration was not successfully submitted.

 

 

Badges/Program Materials

Badges, tickets (if purchased) and program materials will be distributed on-site starting Wednesday, April 14 at 7:00 am.

 

 

Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be received by e-mail or mail no later than April 1, 2010. A $25 processing fee to cancel a registration will be deducted from all registration payment refunds. After April 1, 2010, refunds will not be issued.

About the Association

The Association of Professors was incorporated in 1995 to promote human and medical genetics educational programs in North American medical and graduate schools. More than ninety institutions are now official members of the Association.

The Association holds an annual 2-3 day workshop that deals with medical genetics educational issues. The Association is involved in a variety of other academic activities throughout the year.
